会社概要
Old PhotoIt was around 1900 that the first Raschel lace knitting machine was imported to Japan. About a decade later, Japanese pioneers assembled a Raschel lace knitting machine for themselves. Modeled after imported machines, the Japanese knitter, equipped with four reeds, was able to produce eight-gauge, 28-inch-wide Raschel lace fabric. The knitter is said to have been the first of the kind originated in Japan.
The people who, after years of studies on the imported machines, built up the first domestic Raschel lace knitter, would later commence the textile business preceding Violetta Corporation. They became a major driving force for the nationユs burgeoning shapewear industry, providing highly functional textiles with sophisticated designs made of stretch Raschel lace.
Violetta Corporation, since its inauguration in 1927, has enjoyed continuous progress as the demand for womenユs shapewear grows both in quality and quantity.
