Violetta’s History –
A History of Innovation
Violetta’s journey began with an innovation – the development of the first domestic raschel machine. Since its establishment, the company has always pioneered the development of new materials and obtained numerous patents for knitted fabrics. The strength of Violetta lies in its 100 years of experience and technology, as well as its DNA filled with continuous challenge and innovation. We create materials never existed before and bring about new innovations in the industry.
Value can only come from a Challenge.
Think of ways to do it rather than reasons why you can’t. Violetta’s culture and motto is “manufacturing that never says no”. Rather than simply making what is ordered, we want to respond with value that exceeds expectations. All staff members are working together as a team to meet this challenge. For the sake of customer trust and end-user satisfaction we believe that there are things only we can do as a company that has focused on R&D since its establishment.
“MADE BY VIOLETTA”
to a Global Brand
Violetta collaborates with global companies to deliver products to people around the world. Looking ahead to the next 100 years, we are now beginning to take on new challenges beyond the traditional supplier business. Further strengthening material and development capabilities with the aim of becoming “MADE BY VIOLETTA” beloved around the world.
Since we work to sell products, high quality and technical capabilities are prerequisites, and our role as salespeople is to provide additional value. Our strength lies in light footwork and willingness to take on difficult challenges, and we believe that these aspects of our corporate culture have been passed down through the generations as a part of the company’s DNA.
Sales Division, Sales Section
The main task of the International Division is to introduce our fabrics to overseas customers. Since each country has different taste for the colors and patterns, I make various efforts to facilitate smooth business meetings, including preparation of the presentation kit accustomed to each country. At Violetta, we can also develop designs from scratch in-house, so one of our strengths is to be able to create products tailored each customer’s needs.
International Division, Sales Development Section
We believe that “quality” is the basis of all manufacturing, and are conscious of continuous enhancement of the factory environment so that each of us can work on improving quality. We are one of the few factories in the textile industry with international competitiveness. To transmit our craftsmanship from here in Kaga to the world, we always want to be aware of changes and incorporate them into our evolution.
Factory Manager
The department is responsible for the material development and fabric quality control, and I’m mainly in charge of textile design. Although my job often stays behind the scenes, I really appreciate to hear customers’ voice at trade shows and to see my designs actually being commercialized and sold in stores as products in various forms.
